sound of silence
i sit here
in my corner
watching the world
just pass me by
is it my destiny
to be so alone
i cry out in pain
but no one hears
theres no tomorrow
i cant bear the pain
my dreams once peaceful
now only hold sorrow
it seems like everyone
else is finding
the thing i so long for
i scream out a question
of why not me
but i hear no answer
only the deafening
